Planning the day: with a car or without
Distances on this page are approximate road figures from public routing data, without traffic, calculated on 13 October 2026. City Park and the French Market are close enough to the centre for a bicycle or short taxi; the Greek Ship, the water park and the dolphin park are better as separate trips.
A car makes it easy to chain the northern historic group (museum, cistern, Harireh, Kariz) into a half-day, and the south-eastern group (Dolphin Park, Marina, French Market) into an evening. Without a car, agree a multi-stop taxi price up front and arrange the return trip before you go.
