Harireh historic city

The remains of an old town in north-central Kish, the island's key historic stop.

Historical

Harireh is what remains of an old town that once served as a port and trading place on the Persian Gulf shore. What you see today are walls and foundations, and its impact comes more from the open, shadeless setting than from complete buildings.

The site shares an area with the Kariz and the cistern, so one outing covers all three. To understand the place better, read the information boards for a few minutes on arrival and wear comfortable shoes.
