What are the Kish ferry rules on luggage, pets and children?

ID and arrival time

Per the official Kish Ports portal valid ID is mandatory; be at the port one hour before as a passenger and 30 minutes before with a car. When booking online, enter personal and vehicle details completely and correctly or tolls are charged again on exit. The detailed car-document list appears on the portal only under the Nowruz 1404 conditions and is not a permanent rule; ask for the rules on your travel day.

Luggage and goods

We have no official weight or bag limit and do not guess. A secondary source quoting port advisories says prohibited goods under customs rules must not be carried, items needing customs registration (for example a professional video camera) must be declared before leaving the arrival hall, and some goods such as TVs, air conditioners, fridges and freezers cannot leave the island. Cooking gas appliances aboard require arrangement with the ship's boatswain.

Pets

Per the same secondary source, a passenger with a live animal should carry its identity papers and veterinary and quarantine documents. Where the animal sits, whether a carrier is needed and any fee are not in our sources; ask Kish Ports.

Children, elderly, pregnancy and health

The secondary source asks passengers to look after children and the elderly when boarding and leaving, advises pregnant women to travel by sea only with a doctor's permission and after consulting the captain given the weather, and asks passengers with heart or breathing conditions to inform ship staff before boarding.
